Who Are Lions?
International President's
Theme for 2011-2012
Lions meet the needs of local communities around the world. The 1.3 million members of our volunteer organization in over 200 countries share a core belief – community is what we make it.
We are probably best known for fighting blindness, however, we also volunteer for many different kinds of community projects – including caring for the environment, feeding the hungry, promoting diabetes awareness, and aiding seniors & the disabled. Our motto is "We Serve."
